There are three different beaches that you can enjoy in Avila Beach. The most popular and most family friendly is in downtown Avila, Pirates Cove tucked away between Avila and Shell Beach, and lastly Port San Luis, a dog friendly beach!
Hiking
There are several hiking trails that you can enjoy in Avila that will accommodate everyone’s hiking levels. Some of the trails you can enjoy are Avila Ridge, Sycamore Crest Trail, and Bob Jones.
Avila Valley Barn
Experience rustic farm life at Avila Valley Barn. At the farm they have goats, chickens, ponies, donkeys, and cows. Stop by to feed the animals, enjoy some ice cream, buy locally grown fruits and vegetables, pick up a pie or bakery treat.
